Nurturing Young Minds Beyond the Classroom

At Burtonwood Primary School, we believe that education extends far beyond the traditional classroom setting. Our enrichment programs are designed to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and develop the unique talents and interests of each child. Through a diverse range of activities, including arts, sports, science, and technology, we provide opportunities for children to explore their passions and discover new interests.

We are proud of the opportunities which we make available to all the pupils here at Burtonwood Primary School and run a packed calendar of both external trips and activities carried out within school. We do not have space to list all of our trips, visits and activities here but a few examples of the places we have visited and the things children have done in school and around the community are:

• Year 1 Kenyon Hall Farm trip
• Year 2 and Year 5 trip to Safety Central
• Year 3 1 night residential to Delamere

• Choir trip to Young Voices at the Co-op Live Arena
• Football events at the Etihad Stadium run by Freedom Football
• Senior Citizens Community Carol Concert within school

• Year group Showcase Assemblies
