Reception pupils got the chance to find out more about life on a farm and meet a variety of animals during their special school trip.
The Burtonwood Community Primary School children visited Farmer Ted’s in Ormskirk where they saw a number of different creatures from traditional farm animals to mini beasts and even guinea pigs!
The trip was organised to enhance the Reception curriculum by giving the children a chance to observe the animals themselves as well as learning more about them.
Farmer Ted’s is a family run business which combines farming with educational experiences so that children learn about animals, habitats and food production within a safe environment.
