Reception Visit to Farmer Teds

The Reception class from Burtonwood Community Primary School enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Farmer Teds. During the visit, the children participated in a variety of activities that gave them a glimpse into farm life and allowed them to interact with animals.

The children had an exciting ride on a tractor named Jurassic Ted Venture. The children were delighted as they toured the farm, learning about the different animals and enjoying the fresh air.

The children had the opportunity to groom a pony. The hands-on activity taught them how to care for animals and gave them a chance to build their confidence.

In the petting area, the children were able to stroke guinea pigs and interact with a variety of minibeasts, including small insects and reptiles.  They also watched a sheep show.

The children had time to play in the sandpit with their friends rounding off a fun filled day.

Throughout the visit, the children were not only enthusiastic but also demonstrated impeccable behaviour, providing Reception with an enjoyable day of learning and exploration.  The day was a great success, well done Reception!
