'Imagine That' Reception Trip 2024
A Day of Creativity, Science, and Exploration
Reception class pupils from Burtonwood Community Primary School recently enjoyed an exciting trip to Imagine That in Liverpool, where their day was packed with imaginative play, scientific discovery, and creative activities. The unique environment encouraged not only academic learning but also personal growth, social interaction, and emotional development.
The children eagerly participated in hands-on activities that sparked curiosity. They explored the fascinating science behind making slime and snow, gaining a deeper understanding of these processes while having plenty of fun. Artistic flair was also on display as they created their own decorations, blending creativity with their educational experience. One of the highlights was when the children stepped into giant bubbles.
The trip offered a variety of themed areas to explore, including a construction zone, a vet’s practice, and a supermarket. These immersive spaces gave the children an opportunity to engage with real-world scenarios, broadening their awareness and understanding of everyday environments.
The day was a huge success, filled with laughter and discovery. The Reception class represented their school and families with pride, demonstrating excellent behaviour throughout the day.
Well done, Reception!
