Year 5 and 6 Athletics

After successfully qualifying from the Great Sankey Sports hall Athletics competition, our talented Year 5 and Year 6 athletics team proudly represented Burtonwood Community Primary in the highly competitive town finals on Tuesday, 4th February.

Facing strong opposition from much larger schools, they demonstrated incredible determination, skill, and teamwork, securing victories in multiple events. Their hard work and perseverance earned them an impressive 8th-place finish across the whole of Warrington.

Beyond their athletic achievements, they displayed outstanding sportsmanship, dedication, and behaviour, making us immensely proud. A huge well done to everyone who competed — you were all a credit to our school!
