HPL in Action Week Beginning 19th May 2025

HPL in Action – Share Your Child’s Learning Journey
We are passionate about developing High Performance Learning (HPL) values in our pupils, both in school and beyond. We would love to see how your child demonstrates these skills and qualities at home, whether through clubs, hobbies, creative projects, problem-solving activities, or even everyday challenges.
We invite parents and carers to send in photos and examples of their children demonstrating these values. These could be from sports clubs, music or drama performances, science experiments, artwork, fundraising, or any activity where they show resilience, originality, confidence, or big-picture thinking.
Please send your details, along with a photo to Miss Coupe in school—we can’t wait to share and celebrate their fantastic efforts!
Here are the children that have been showcasing this week’s HPL value: Concern for Society. This can be explained as 'Do your own little things to help others'.
Lucas - Year 1
Lucas - Year 1 Lucas has done so well this week with his concern for society. He has tried his best to help with chores round the house tidying his bedroom and playroom, helping with dinner and getting dressed himself every day before school. His neighbour had an operation, and he wanted to draw him a lovely picture of the family by the beach in the sunshine to cheer him up. He has been trying really hard with saving energy by turning lights off and not running the water too long when brushing his teeth. Well done Lucas!
