Year 3 Share Their Learning at Egyptian Showcase Assembly

This week, Year 3 pupils hosted their showcase assembly, sharing their learning about Ancient Egypt with parents, carers, pupils and staff.

The children began by explaining where Egypt is located in the world, highlighting that it is in the north-east corner of Africa. They followed this with a performance of the 'Continent' song, helping everyone remember the names of all seven continents.

The assembly continued with the children sharing a range of facts about Ancient Egypt — including information about pyramids, pharaohs, and daily life in ancient times. The pupils spoke confidently as they shared what they had learned during their topic.

After the assembly, parents and carers were invited to stay and look through the children’s books. This was a lovely opportunity to see the work Year 3 have produced over the year, including maths, writing, artwork, and research linked to their Egyptian studies.

Thank you to all the families who attended and supported the children. Well done to Year 3 for their efforts in preparing and presenting their learning!
