Year 1 Art in the style of Paul Klee

In Art, Year 1 have been creating wonderful self-portraits inspired by the artist Paul Klee.

Using their knowledge of line, the children carefully observed their facial features and explored the different shapes they could see in their own faces. After drawing their portraits, they added bright, colourful pieces of paper in a variety of shapes and sizes to produce vibrant collage versions of themselves.

Year 1 showed fantastic creativity and imagination throughout the process, while also developing their drawing, cutting, and fine motor skills. What great pieces of artwork they created.
