Year 6 Enjoy an Action-Packed Residential at Robinwood

Year 6 had an amazing three-day, two-night adventure at Robinwood, taking part in a wide range of fun and challenging activities that tested their teamwork, problem-solving skills, and courage.

From the minute they arrived, the children were thrown straight into the experience. They tackled puzzles in the Piranha Pool, made discoveries in the Dungeon, and worked together to complete problem-solving challenges to encourage co-operation and resilience.

Outdoor adventures were a highlight, with the children enjoying canoeing on the centre’s lake, climbing walls, the giant swing, zip wire, and trapeze. Each activity offered something different, whether it was learning to belay a team-mate, scaling a wall, or soaring through the air.

Children tried archery, developed teamwork and communication on the Nightline, and worked through ground-level challenges that required focus and co-operation.

Robinwood’s activities are carefully planned to include everyone, with minimal downtime and plenty of chances to make memories. Whether indoors on climbing walls and trapeze or outdoors navigating the Nightline and canoeing, the children enjoyed a perfect balance of challenges.

Mealtimes were enjoyed by everyone, with plenty of food to fuel the children for all the action-packed activities.

Throughout the residential, the children demonstrated fantastic behaviour, working together, encouraging each other, and showing resilience and confidence in every activity. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination made the trip a great success.

Well done Year 6!
