Reception Class Shine in Their Minibeast Showcase Assembly

Reception proudly presented their special showcase assembly all about minibeasts, sharing the wonderful learning they have been doing in class.

The children impressed everyone with their confidence as each pupil spoke in front of an audience of parents, carers, staff and fellow pupils. They each shared interesting facts about minibeasts, remembering their lines brilliantly and speaking clearly for everyone to hear.

Reception also performed three fantastic songs: a spider song, a counting butterfly song, and a song about the life cycle of a butterfly. The children sang enthusiastically, kept in time, and performed beautifully.

After the assembly, families were invited into the Reception classroom where they had the opportunity to look through their child’s books and enjoy exploring the indoor and outdoor learning environments together.

It was a wonderful morning and a fantastic opportunity for the children to showcase all of their hard work.

Reception should be very proud of themselves - well done, you were amazing!
