Year 2 Geography - Weather Walk

Year 2 Geography - Weather Walk
Year 2 have been weather detectives this week!
As part of their Geography learning, they headed outside for a ‘Weather Walk’ to investigate and record the weather conditions around them.
Armed with thermometers and weather recording sheets, the children carefully observed the weather and measured the temperature. They looked at the sky, noticed the wind and clouds, and used their senses to explore what the weather felt like.
The children then recorded their findings, developing their skills in making observations, using simple equipment and collecting information about the world around them.
It was fantastic to see the children so engaged and excited to be weather scientists. They showed great curiosity as they compared their observations and discussed the different weather conditions they experienced.
Well done, Year 2!
