Regular readers at Burtonwood Community Primary School take a trip to their very own onsite Starbooks, where they can relax with a drink and a biscuit and choose a special prize from the lucky dip.
Children who read more than four times a week get the chance to visit the special area created in the school to help promote a love of reading both at school and at home.
While enjoying their special treat, pupils can take a lucky dip to win a number of prizes, including a book to keep, bringing a teddy into school, sitting on the teacher’s chair for the day, wearing slippers to school and even no homework for the week!
