Children in Reception are already enjoying their brand new classroom following a major makeover.
The work at Burtonwood Community Primary School included a new neutral colour scheme across the classroom, new flooring and rugs and all new furniture.
Pupils also now have brand new resources to use, including a new calm reading area with a number of books for the children to choose from to promote a love of reading.
There is also a role play area with a kitchen, table and chairs as well as a science space for all their latest experiments.
The children are already making good use of all the new resources and play areas and finding new ways to learn through play in their classroom.
And now the inside is complete, focus is turning to the outdoor play area which is due a massive makeover this summer.
The new outdoor space will be specifically designed for the Early Years and will provide a range of stimulating activities that will promote physical, social, and emotional development.
Look out for more information on this in the coming months.
