Eureka Trip Inspires Year 4 Assembly 

Year 4 students took centre stage at Burtonwood Community Primary School, as they showcased their newfound knowledge about the digestive system and teeth.

Following an educational trip to Eureka, the budding scientists enthralled their families with a live experiment that demonstrated the intricate process of digestion, from when food is ingested to its eventual exit from the body.

From the initial stages of chewing and breaking down food in the mouth to the absorption of nutrients in the stomach and intestines, the young scientists provided a comprehensive overview of the body's complex digestive machinery.
