Year 1 Students Explore Burtonwood Village
Year 1 children recently ventured on a trip around Burtonwood village as part of their Geography lesson. During their walk, the students identified various human and physical features in Burtonwood, applying the skills they've been learning in class.
The walk took them through a variety of landscapes, allowing them to observe and discuss the features of their village. Despite getting caught in the rain, they had lots of fun and particularly enjoyed looking at the little stream, the park and the farmers' fields, where they even saw a tractor in action!
They worked on their fieldwork skills by drawing some field sketches of what they saw and recorded their findings in a table.
Well done Year 1!
