Year 2 pupils showcased their High Performance Learning (HPL) skills through an engaging and interactive game in their maths lesson. Using collaboration and positional language, students guided their partners to navigate their way to the cone.

The activity involved students directing their partners with precise instructions such as "move forward three steps," "turn clockwise," "take a step back" and "turn anti-clockwise" to reach a designated cone. This exercise not only reinforced their understanding of positional language but also highlighted the importance of effective communication and teamwork.

By collaborating closely, pupils enhanced their problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills. This hands-on approach to learning helped solidify key mathematical concepts in an enjoyable and memorable way.

Good work Year 2!
