Eco Council Create Poppies for Remembrance Day

The Eco Council had a productive and creative afternoon on Monday, dedicating their time to recycling plastic bottles in a unique and meaningful way.

Instead of throwing them away, the group transformed the bottles into beautiful, vibrant poppies in honour of Remembrance Day. Through teamwork, the bottles were carefully shaped and painted, resulting in lovely, handmade flowers that symbolise both remembrance and sustainability. These eye-catching poppies have been proudly displayed on the branches of the school tree on the playground, where they serve as a poignant tribute to those who have served and sacrificed.
