Festive Cheer Fills Burtonwood as Choir and Concert Band Light Up Christmas Spirit

Burtonwood village kicked off the festive season tonight with a heartwarming performance by the Burtonwood Community Primary School Choir and the Warrington West Concert Band. The event, held as part of the village's annual Christmas Tree Light-Up celebration, brought the community together despite the wet weather forcing the festivities indoors.

The choir gave a delightful performance and their efforts were beautifully complemented by the sounds of the Warrington West Concert Band, creating a festive atmosphere.

The people of Burtonwood gathered to enjoy the music, share festive treats, and celebrate the lighting of the Christmas tree. The weather may have been damp, but spirits were anything but, as the music filled the hall with warmth and cheer.

The evening was a shining example of community spirit, showcasing local talent and bringing people together to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!

The choir's next appearance was at the Parr Hall Event.

Parr Hall was filled with the sounds of Christmas as the Warrington West Concert Band joined forces with local school choirs, including the talented singers from Burtonwood Community Primary School, for a spectacular performance.

The lively show featured five schools singing a medley of classic and modern Christmas songs, showcasing impressive acapella harmonies. The concert band added their own flair to the evening, performing stunning duets and a unique twist on 'The 12 Days of Christmas'.

One of the evening's highlights was the surprise appearance of The Grinch, who took to the stage as the band played songs from the Christmas movie.

The event was a heart-warming celebration of music, with the Parr Hall buzzing with the sounds of applause and Christmas spirit.

Community Carol Concert

The choir, along with children from each year group, showcased their talents for Grandparents and senior citizens of the Burtonwood community delivering performances, including traditional carols and songs.

Choir Visit the Old Vicarage Care Home

Our talented choir visited The Old Vicarage Care Home in Burtonwood village to share some festive cheer. The children sang a selection of Christmas carols, bringing smiles and joy to the residents.

The visit was a lovely way to bring the community together, with the choir’s performance creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Both the children and the residents enjoyed the experience, making it a meaningful start to the festive season.

Amazing performances, well done to everyone involved!
