Year 6 Showcase Assembly

On Monday morning, Year 6 held their showcase assembly, where parents and carers were invited to watch them perform on the guitar.

The children have been having weekly guitar lessons with Laurie, who has been visiting the school for many years, and they were excited to share what they had learned. They played a selection of songs, demonstrating their progress and confidence in front of a supportive audience.

After their performance, pupils had the opportunity to share their work with their parents and carers. They proudly showed the work that they have been working on since September, reflecting on their achievements over the past months. It was a great chance for families to see the effort and dedication the children have put into their learning.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to support the event, and a special thanks to Laurie for his continued work with the children.
