Year 1 Showcase Assembly - Amazing Animals

Year 1 pupils put on a fantastic Showcase Assembly, sharing all they have learned about the wonderful world of animals.

As part of their learning, they explored different animal groups, including birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and fish (BRAMF), and proudly shared their knowledge with the audience. They also performed a lively and engaging song to help remember these groups, impressing everyone with their enthusiasm and confidence.

The assembly was a wonderful example of the children demonstrating the HPL values of confidence and collaboration. They spoke clearly, performed with enthusiasm, and worked together to put on a brilliant presentation, supporting one another throughout.

During part of the performance, the children wore the animal masks they had carefully designed and made, adding a creative touch to their showcase.

After the assembly, parents and carers were invited into the Year 1 classroom to see the brilliant work the children have been doing since September. It was a great opportunity to celebrate their learning, creativity, and achievements.

Well done to Year 1 for such a fantastic showcase!
