Year 2’s Taste-Testing

Year 2 have been putting their taste buds to the test in English this week. As part of their learning, the children had the opportunity to try a variety of different foods—some familiar and some completely new.

For some, this was a chance to be adventurous and step out of their comfort zone, showing great confidence in trying foods they had never tasted before. Some discovered new favourites, while others found a few foods they’d rather not try again.  

It was a fun and engaging experience that sparked lots of discussion, descriptive language, and excitement.

Well done, Year 2, for being such brave taste-testers!
