Year 2’s Musical Creations on the Glockenspiel

Year 2 have been exploring their musical creativity through composition, working together to create their own pieces using the glockenspiel. With just three notes to work with, they used their fluent thinking skills to come up with imaginative and original ideas.

Collaboration was key as the children worked in small groups, experimenting with different note combinations and rhythms to shape their compositions. They practiced with focus and enthusiasm, refining their pieces before performing in front of their classmates.

It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they shared their music, and the performances were a fantastic celebration of teamwork and creativity.
