Spring 2 After-School Clubs

This term, our after-school clubs have been buzzing with excitement keeping pupils engaged, offering fantastic opportunities to develop new skills and interests.

One of our brand-new additions, the Mystery Hunters Club, quickly became a favourite. Over six weeks, children transformed into real-life detectives, cracking riddles and deciphering secret codes to uncover the secrets of Willowmere Manor. They pieced together torn letters, solved intricate puzzles, followed detailed maps, and explored family history to reveal who had taken the heirlooms. Working in pairs and teams, the children displayed curiosity, teamwork, and resilience. Their final challenge uncovered a touching truth and helped restore peace to a once-divided family. Mystery solved.

In addition, we also ran our Board Game Club for the second time, giving children another fantastic opportunity to engage in friendly competition, develop strategic thinking, and enjoy classic and modern board games with their peers. The club continues to be a great way to foster patience, communication, and problem-solving skills in a relaxed and fun environment.

Our Gardening Club also flourished this term, with children enthusiastically planting, watering, and nurturing a variety of flowers and vegetables. They took great pride in watching their plants grow and learning about the importance of sustainability and caring for the environment. The club provided a peaceful and rewarding experience, encouraging patience, responsibility, and teamwork.

All our clubs have been a great success, and we’re looking forward to offering Guitar Club, Yoga, Street Dance and French Club next term!
