Year 2 Art

Year 2 had a fantastic opportunity to bring in their favourite toys from home to use as inspiration for their observational drawings.

In previous art lessons, they had been developing their HPL skill of deliberate practice, focusing on a variety of techniques to create texture.

This session allowed them to apply those techniques thoughtfully, capturing the details and character of their chosen toys with care and creativity.

The results were impressive, showcasing not only artistic progress but also a deepening understanding of how to represent texture and form.
