Year 6 Art - Abstract Photography
Year 6 Get Creative with Abstract Photography
Year 6 students have been channelling their inner artists this week as they explored abstract art through photography, taking inspiration from renowned photographer Edward Weston.
Using macro and monochromatic techniques, the children captured striking close-up images of natural forms, transforming everyday objects into imaginative works of art. They made thoughtful decisions about cropping, editing, and presentation, showcasing their developing skills and artistic vision.
The results were fantastic examples of observation, composition, and creative expression, highlighting the students’ talent and enthusiasm for trying new artistic styles.
