Year 2 Happy Breathing During Mindfulness

This week Year 2 children have been practicing the mindfulness technique 'Happy Breathing'. The session was a great opportunity for the children to pause, relax, and focus on their well-being.

During the activity, the children lay with their eyes closed, paying close attention to feel their breathing. Together, they took slow, gentle breaths in, imagining themselves filling up with happiness, and blowing out any worries.

Mindfulness activities like Happy Breathing are a great way to support children’s emotional regulation, boost concentration, and encourage positive thinking.

Well done Year 2!
