Year 5 Science - Transparency
Year 5 Science - Transparency
In Science, Year 5 have been learning about transparency. Pupils tested a range of materials to investigate how transparent, translucent or opaque they were, using a light meter app on the iPads to measure how much light passed through each one. They then discussed how these materials are used in everyday life and why their properties make them suitable for particular purposes.
The class also focused on presenting their findings clearly by drawing accurate scientific results tables. It was a great opportunity for pupils to develop both their practical skills and their understanding of material properties.
Well done Year 5!
