Year 4 Shine at Freedom Football Tournament

Today, our Year 4 pupils took part in an exciting football tournament organised by Freedom Football, who also run our after-school clubs and lunchtime coaching sessions. The event brought together teams from five other local schools, creating a fantastic community atmosphere and a brilliant opportunity for our pupils to showcase their skills.

Across the morning, our team played five matches, demonstrating teamwork, determination, and great sportsmanship. They had three wins, one draw and one loss, securing them a well-deserved 2nd place overall.

With 16-minute matches played in a 7-a-side format, all 11 players had the chance to participate fully. We were incredibly proud to see a wonderful mix of boys and girls all playing superbly and supporting one another on and off the pitch.

A huge thank you to Pete and all the coaches at Freedom Football for organising such a well-run event and for helping to bring schools in our community together. Our Year 4 pupils had an amazing experience and represented our school brilliantly.

Well done, Year 4!
