Burtonwood Choir Spread Christmas Joy Across the Community

Our talented school choir have had a wonderfully busy Christmas weekend — and what a fantastic job they did representing Burtonwood Community Primary School.

On Friday evening, following our school Christmas Fayre, the choir headed to St Michael's Church Hall for the annual village Christmas Tree Light Up. Although the rain made an appearance, it certainly didn’t dampen their spirits. Instead of singing outside, the celebration moved indoors where the children performed beautifully alongside the Warrington West Band. Their festive songs brought Christmas cheer to everyone, creating a lovely community moment to begin the season.

The celebrations continued on Saturday, when the choir travelled to St Elphin’s Church in Warrington to take part in a special Christmas concert. Sharing the stage with other local schools and Warrington West Band, our pupils sang confidently under the impressive church lights and acoustics. The audience enjoyed a wonderful mix of carols, music and festive pieces, a magical atmosphere that filled the church with Christmas spirit.

We are incredibly proud of our choir for their enthusiasm, dedication and brilliant performances at both events. Thank you to all families who came along to support them, and to the organisers of both events for inviting us to be involved.

What a beautiful way to start the festive season!
