Burtonwood Pupils Shine at Victoria Park Parkrun

We are so proud of our pupils who took part in the Parkrun at Victoria Park in St Helens last Sunday. A wonderful number of our children joined in, showing fantastic determination, energy, and team spirit.

In the weeks leading up to the event, the children had been attending our after-school running club, building their fitness, stamina, and confidence. It was incredible to see all their hard work pay off on the day, as they completed the run with huge smiles and a real sense of achievement.

The Parkrun was not only a celebration of fitness but also a brilliant opportunity for our pupils to challenge themselves, support each other, and take part in a community sporting event. It was inspiring to see so many Burtonwood children out in force, representing the school with enthusiasm and pride.

Well done to everyone who took part — we can’t wait to see even more pupils join in future Parkruns!
