Year 5 Build Skills in PE
In PE, Year 5 have been developing their athletics skills through running activities and speed jump challenges. The children worked collaboratively in pairs, taking turns to time, count and support one another during each activity.
They shared responsibilities by recording results together, comparing scores and discussing how they could improve. Children encouraged their partners to stay focused and keep moving, showing positive teamwork and respect for each other’s efforts.
There was a strong sense of collaboration and determination throughout the lesson. By reflecting together on their performances and trying again, the children learned how working as a team, along with practice and effort, can help them make progress while building their fitness and stamina.
