Reception - Creative Butterflies

Reception – Creative Butterflies
Reception have been busy creating beautiful butterflies with moving wings. They carefully followed instructions and used a range of practical skills to bring their creations to life.
The children had to cut out different shapes, use a hole punch to make holes, and carefully attach the wings to the butterfly body using split pins. This activity helped develop their fine motor skills, hand control, and co-ordination while encouraging patience and perseverance.
Once their butterflies were assembled, the children used glue and sequins to decorate the wings with their own creative designs. They showed fantastic imagination and took great care in making each butterfly unique and colourful.
The finished butterflies look wonderful, and the children were very proud to see their moving wings in action.
Well done Reception.
