Reception Explore London with The Naughty Bus

This week, Reception have been enjoying the story The Naughty Bus. The children followed the adventures of a mischievous London bus as it travelled through a variety of exciting places and got up to all sorts of trouble along the way.

Inspired by the story, the children have been learning about London, looking at maps and photographs of some of its famous landmarks. They enjoyed discussing what they could see and finding different places on maps.

In the small world area, the children used their imagination and creativity to draw and create their own maps. They carefully designed routes for buses to travel along and explored how maps can help people find their way from one place to another.

Through their activities, the children have been developing their communication, drawing and early geography skills while having lots of fun bringing the story to life.
