Fun at Delamere!

Year 3 students recently embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Delamere, and it was nothing short of a fantastic experience! The weather was on their side, and they made the most of it, revelling in the great outdoors, exploring, and having a blast. Here's a glimpse into their exciting journey!

Nature's Wonders Unveiled

Delamere, known for its natural beauty, proved to be the perfect backdrop for Year 3's escapade. The students enjoyed glorious weather, with clear skies and a warm sun overhead. They spent their days outdoors, immersed in nature, and were completely captivated by the wonders of the great outdoors.

Animal Habitats and Wildlife Mysteries

One of the highlights of their trip was a forest walk, where the young explorers delved into learning about animal habitats. Eyes wide with excitement, the children were convinced that they had a close encounter with a badger. The forest walk not only brought them closer to nature but also sparked their curiosity about the creatures that call Delamere their home.

Meg, the Den-Building Extraordinaire

On the second day, Year 3 students took on the challenge under the guidance of their leader, Meg. They embarked on a quest to build dens, and their creativity knew no bounds. These dens were not your ordinary hideaways; they used their imaginations to craft cozy hideaways, created helicopter pads, basketball courts, corn fields, and even campfires to the exteriors of their dens. The results were amazing, reflecting the boundless imagination of our Year 3 students.

Learning through Adventure

The Delamere adventure was more than just a field trip; it was a unique opportunity for Year 3 to learn, grow, and bond with nature and each other.

Year 3's journey to Delamere is a testament to the power of outdoor learning and the incredible creativity that young minds can unleash when given the chance to explore and play in the great outdoors.

Well done Year 3, you were a credit to the school!
