Year 6 Celebrations at Burtonwood Community Primary School: A Memorable Farewell

As Year 6 students near the end of their time at the school, a series of celebrations have marked this special transition. The festivities kicked off with a vibrant leavers disco last night, followed by a Fun Day today, creating unforgettable memories.

Last night's leavers disco was a resounding success, with students participating in party games like corners and musical statues. The school staff transformed the room with beautiful decorations, creating a party atmosphere for the event. Pupils enjoyed pizza, chicken, and potato wedges, while the DJ ensured everyone stayed on their feet with lively music and entertainment.

Today, the celebrations continued with a Fun Day organised by both the school, parents and the PTFA. Highlights included a bouncy inflatable, water balloons and a water fight, as well as football games and dancing. Year 6 had hours of fun and a BBQ that everyone enjoyed.

We are going to miss you, Year 6, and we wish you well on your journey up to high school. These past few days have been filled with joy and laughter, a perfect send-off for our amazing Year 6 students and we wish them all the best for the future!
