Year 4 Trip to Eureka 2024
Year 4 Students Explore the Fascinating World of Science at Eureka Science and Discovery Centre
On Wednesday 6th November, Year 4 pupils embarked on an exciting and educational adventure to the Eureka Science and Discovery Centre in Liverpool. The day was packed with interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and new insights into the everyday applications of science.
The pupils loved the exhibits gallery, where they engaged with displays that highlighted the connection between science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). The exhibits showcased how these disciplines work together and influence the world around us, providing a deeper understanding of their importance in our daily lives.
A standout moment of the visit was when the students walked through a giant set of lungs and a life-sized brain, gaining a fascinating, up-close view of the human body. They also explored the structure of a home, learning about its materials and design. These immersive experiences sparked curiosity and excitement, reinforcing the idea that learning can be both fun and insightful.
The centre also encouraged the students to think critically about their environment, helping them realise how the world around them offers valuable lessons about themselves, their purpose, and their connection to nature.
A great day was had by all!
