Remembrance Day 2024
In honour of Remembrance Day, a group of pupils from Burtonwood Community Primary School visited Burtonwood Cemetery to lay a wreath as a mark of respect for those who served and sacrificed.
The pupils gathered, reflecting on the bravery and commitment of those who fought to protect their freedom and pay tribute to those who gave their lives.
This meaningful experience allowed the young students to gain a deeper understanding of the significance of Remembrance Day, connecting them to a shared history and inspiring a sense of gratitude and respect for those who gave their lives in service.
