Springtime Growth in Reception

Our Reception children have been closely observing the daffodils blooming in their outdoor planters, noticing how they brighten up their learning environment. Inspired by the wonders of nature, they have been busy planting pea and carrot seeds, carefully placing them in the soil and ensuring they have the right conditions to grow.

Over the coming weeks, the children will be monitoring their seedlings, watering them, and learning about what plants need to thrive. This hands-on experience not only supports their understanding of the natural world but also fosters patience, responsibility, and excitement as they watch their plants develop.

We look forward to seeing the results of their hard work!
