Year 1 Computers
This week, Year 1 pupils have been developing their mouse skills in their computing lessons. As part of their learning, they have created digital artwork inspired by the renowned artist Wassily Kandinsky.
Using a variety of digital tools, the children explored how to incorporate repeating shapes and patterns into their designs. They demonstrated great creativity, selecting vibrant colours to bring their artwork to life, much like Kandinsky’s famous abstract pieces.
The lessons provided an excellent opportunity for the children to develop their fine motor skills while also expressing themselves artistically. Their final pieces were filled with bold colours and dynamic compositions, reflecting both their imagination and their growing confidence in using digital technology.
Well done to all the Year 1 for their fantastic efforts!
