Cheshire Fire Service Visits Year 5

Year 5 pupils had an exciting visit this week from Cheshire Fire Service, who arrived with their impressive fire engine to give the pupils a first-hand look at the life of a firefighter.

The firefighters spoke to the children about their important role in keeping communities safe, explaining the different emergencies they respond to and how they work as a team.

The highlight of the visit was the chance for students to explore the fire engine, try on the firefighters' protective clothing, and even have a go at using the fire hose!

The children had a fantastic time learning about fire safety and the vital work of the fire service. It was an unforgettable experience that left them inspired and informed.
