Year 2 Science - Life Processes

Year 2 – Science
This week in Science, Year 2 have been learning about the life processes that all living things share: movement, sensitivity, growth, reproduction, excretion, and nutrition. To help remember these key ideas, the children created their own actions and rhymes for each life process.
They had great fun coming up with movements to match each process and putting the rhymes together into short, memorable videos. This activity not only helped them to recall important scientific concepts but also allowed them to be creative and work collaboratively with their classmates.
The videos showed how well the children could explain the life processes using both words and actions, and they were proud to share their work with each other. This hands-on approach made learning about living things engaging and fun.
Well done Year 2!
