Year 4 Guitar Assembly

This week, our talented Year 4 pupils took to the stage to showcase their developing guitar skills in a fantastic performance for parents, grandparents and carers.

Over the past few weeks, the children have been taking part in weekly guitar lessons with Laurie, who has inspired them with his enthusiastic and engaging teaching. In a relatively short amount of time, Year 4 have learned a range of new skills, including basic chords, rhythm and performance techniques.

The audience was treated to a selection of well-known songs, and the children performed really well. Some children also demonstrated remarkable courage by performing solos in front of the audience, showcasing just how much their confidence and musical ability have grown.

Laurie was incredibly proud of the progress the children have made and praised their positive attitudes, hard work and willingness to challenge themselves throughout the lessons.

The performance was a great opportunity for the children to celebrate their achievements and share their musical talents with family members. We are super proud of the perseverance shown by all of Year 4.
